Michael Kesler holds a bachelor's degree in counseling and psychology, a master's degree in counseling, and post-master's counseling studies from Hardin-Simmons University, bringing decades of clinical experience to his practice.Michael's approach is grounded in the client-centered tradition developed by Dr. Carl Rogers, with an emphasis on each client's dignity and worth. He primarily uses cognitive-behavioral therapy in his work, with particular experience in adjustment to disabilities, juvenile delinquency, intellectual disabilities, and brain injury rehabilitation — he was previously a certified rehabilitation counselor.Michael works with adolescents, adults, and older adults. He considers it an honor when clients place their trust in him to help work through whatever life issues they're facing.
