Jennifer Smothermon has worked with clients of all ages for the past 25 years. She holds a master's degree and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor, both at the supervisor level, as well as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and EMDRIA Certified Therapist.Jennifer believes every person is born with inherent value, unique strengths, and the capacity for growth and change. Her work is grounded in family systems, attachment, and client-centered approaches, staying flexible and responsive to each client's individual goals. She views the therapeutic relationship itself as the foundation for healing, insight, and lasting change.Jennifer works with children, adolescents, couples, families, and individuals, bringing trauma-informed care, EMDR, play therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy training to her practice.
